Med Skool is a global educational and mentorship platform proudly powered by Chiron Consulting under the Chiron Mentors division. Founded and led by Dr. Chibuzo “Casey” Ohanaja, MD, MPH, DABFM, this initiative reflects over a decade of physician-led mentoring and professional development for pre-health students, medical students, residents, and early-career physicians.

How Med Skool Works

Your Med Skool experience includes both general access and selective cohort-based programs:

General Access (Year-Round):

Includes core resource libraries, event recordings, discussion boards, and periodic drop-in Q&A sessions.

Cohort-Based Programs (Offered Seasonally):

These high-value tracks are offered 3–4 times per year and are limited in size to allow for meaningful interaction, personal feedback, and focused support. Cohorts include tracks for:

When do new cohorts start?

We offer 3–4 flagship cohort launches per year based on student demand, academic cycles, and key timelines (e.g., interview season, application deadlines). Join the waitlist to get early access.

What’s the difference between general access and cohort access?

General access includes core educational content, select recordings, and periodic Q&As. Cohort access includes live weekly sessions, guided modules, small group interactions, and personalized mentorship.

How do I get general access?

Once the platform opens, you can sign up directly for general access to explore our resources, join live events, and stay updated without committing to a cohort.

How much does it cost?

We offer transparent, tiered pricing based on your access level (Basic, Enhanced, Premium). Full details are provided during enrollment on the Skool platform.

Can I book a 1:1 consult if I’m not in a cohort?

Yes. Consultations are open to both general and cohort users, depending on availability. They’re commonly used for strategy calls, document reviews, and interview prep.

Do I have to be in the U.S. to join?

Not at all. Med Skool is designed for global learners — whether you’re pursuing U.S. residency or an international career path.

Can my student org partner with Med Skool?

Is the platform HIPAA compliant?

Yes. We do not collect or share personal health data. All programming is strictly educational.
